Peter Zaremba (The Psychedelic Count) (US)

New York native Peter Zaremba (The Psychedelic Count) has been lead singer of The world-famous Fleshtones since their founding in 1976. His most recent record release is his French language solo 45 'Le Teuer Au Dernier Etage'/ 'Ne Vois Tu Pas'. During the mid 80s he brought many 'alternative' bands to national television for the first time, as well as music giants like Willy Dixon, Iggy Pop, Jimmy Cliff and Roy Orbison (his last TV interview) as host of 'The Cutting Edge' on MTV, and MC'ed the historic 'Cavestomp' series of concerts, relaunching the careers of many classic garage and British Invasion bands of the 60s. Currently he hosts a weekly show as well as a monthly 'Fright Night' on Little Steven's Underground Garage via Sirius XM satellite radio, and resides in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with his wife and Dugu their pet turtle and is performing and working on new recordings with The Fleshtones, a new French solo 45, and with his pal Mike Edison (The Raunch Hands) in their new R&B act 'Sharkey & The Count'.
