Pat Todd & The Rank Outsiders

(US)

Pat Todd, originally from Indiana, moved to Los Angeles in the early 1980s, where he fronted the incredible The Lazy Cowgirls for over two decades (1983-2004).
After the band disbanded, he formed The Rankoutsiders to continue exploring a sound that blends old-school punk with influences from country, blues, and classic rock and roll. His music has been described as a mix of Chuck Berry, Hank Williams, the Rolling Stones, and Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers—a blend of direct, honest, and visceral rock and roll with the urgency of punk.
The band has maintained a steady output, releasing numerous albums and EPs on labels such as Ghost Highway Recordings and Heavy Medication Records, and touring extensively throughout the US, Europe, and Australia.
