Miss A
Miss A the Beat Girl from Belgium, who together with MR A is the organiser of London’s club nite Weirdsville and of the UK’s Hipsville A Go! Go! party weekend.
If that’s not rock’n’roll enough Miss A is currently the bass player in the UK’s psych garage sensation The Jack Cades and before that laid down the bass in former Belgian surf legends Speedball JR.
Things get groovy when Miss A gets behind the decks as her mix of psych, garage, surf and beat, mixed with a touch of BeNeLux dance tunes always fills the dance floor.
Cuerdas Fuera Showcase
Cuerdas Fuera is a record label that, from the catacombs of Barcelona, publishes groups that move between punk and electronic music. The boss of the house, Yvette Erre, is slowly but surely making a name for the label among the best of the international underground ones. As deep fans of her catalog, some of the bands have already played at Funtastic. This year went one step further and we’ve asked her to be in charge of the noon party at the Sala Rockstar, for which she has selected three bands: Beta Máximo, Teo Wise and Tetas Fías. In addition, after the three concerts, she will play her favorite tunes.
As you already know, our maximum for the Funtastic weekend is ENDLESS FUN, and that is what we’ll have with Cuerdas Fuera’s Creepy Island.

Carl Combover
Carl Combover has been spinning records in the clubs and bars of Liverpool since the early 90’s and has ran the club night The Go-Go Cage for over 10 years. His trusty box of 45’s has seen him DJ all over the UK and abroad, and at festivals including Glastonbury, Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia, Hipsville A-Go-Go, Red Rooster, Blast-Off, Born Bad in Paris and Fuzz in the City in Bilbao. He’s also the drum pounder for several bands including Garage delinquents,The Shook-Ups and Las Vegas Grind instrumentalists, Doktor Combover. Expect to hear all sorts of dance floor killers- Garage Fuzz Pounders, Sleazy Punk Rock, Greasy R’n’B, Raw Soul Shouters and Wild Stripper Grooves!
Escape-Ism
Escape-Ism is the solo project of Ian Svenonius, the extraordinary frontman of bands like The Make Up, Chain and the Gang or Nation of Ulysses.
A tireless creator, he is, in addition to being a musician and singer, a writer. He wrote the books “Supernatural Strategies for Making a Rock’n’Roll Group” , “The Psychic Soviet”, and “Censorship Now!!”.
He has directed the documentary “What Is A Group?” and is the host of Soft Focus, a talk show among musicians that preceded many later imitators.
Escape-Ism reinvents rock’n’roll in the same way that the motor reinvented the way of traveling. It is a fascinating and terrifying response to the current scene, full of proposals without content.

Beware! because this punk likes to shake things up behind the decks so expect the unexpected! as Mr A’s box of Good Taste 45s will be so packed full of punk, garage, instro-mentals, Turkish titty-shakers and even some fist pumping glam, you won’t wanna leave the dance floor!
A long time ago Mr A started to spread his love of trashy rock’n’roll on his You Got Good Taste podcast which began it’s life as a featured show on GaragePunk.com, now that site has gone you can find his old shows over on Mixcloud.
Teo Wise
There is no musical genre in his sound; you can choose how to call it or call it, as he calls it, “Spaghetti RNR.
Beta Máximo
Our favorite alien lands in Benidorm armed with a guitar and space machines to conquer the skyscrapers of the city with his hilarious synth-punk.
Tetas Frías
Five jerks meet throughout 2022 in the DIY My Heart Your Mouth emo collective and decide to make a band with three main resources: kebab, a sleeping bag to share and a lot of attitude.
They define themselves as synth punk or punkitronica but they treat genres like pokémons: get them all! They like punk, black metal, midwest emo, tontipop and teknaso, although they must admit that they like the most dirty reggaeton on a Wednesday morning in the worst squat in Barcelona. Tetas frías (Cold Tits), also known as frigotetas, sing to both card games and failed Tinder dates, as well as encouraging their friends to kill their rapist or the anarchist history of Barcelona. They have attitude, but what they don’t have is money. They beg you to buy a T-shirt. Special mention to the drummer who is the best musician in Tetas Frías (it’s a computer)
Boston Babies
Boston Babies is a very young punk band founded in Madrid in 2021. A power trio made up of Mitch Martin (Guitar and vocals), Nico Uriarte (bass) and Breixo Omil Buendia (drums).
Their influences of 77 punk rock, power pop, garage, noise and pub rock take hold of them, leading them along the highway of the most energetic rock and roll sound of the 70s that has already become their hallmark.
